We’re back … take 2!

Sorry for the radio silence, due to the continued confusion with official directives, it was decided to transfer my independent CadetForce.Training site into our existing Combined Cadet Force website. Now fully compliant, you should continue to find the training material you found so useful hosted here.

If you are reading this, then you are a supporter of our work. Thank you from all of us in the Contingent, and I hope you continue to be innovative in your training delivery and I look forward to being able to continue to share some of our training materials, thoughts and ideas.

What does this mean?

  • We are complying with the latest of the requirements from Headquarters Cadet Branch.
  • I can introduce my amazing CCF unit at Campbell College and fly their flag as I continue to make sure their training needs are met during this training hiatus.
  • Training resources that we create can not only be shared to our own cadets, but as long as we keep the site open to the public, we can share them with you and your cadets too.
  • Cadets continue to receive quality online training resources and challenges.
  • I will remove all public logins including any users who have previously registered. These features will be reserved for Contingent staff only. Rest assured, any and all details have been deleted.

There may be some short term glitches while the new site settled down, but I hope these won’t last too long. Thanks for your patience, and remember – stay safe.

Capt. Nick author is an experienced CFAV, having joined the Campbell College Army Section in 1996, he has technically never left! Formally commissioning in 2004, he now holds the rank of Captain and undertakes the role of Training Officer, as well as assisting with national courses such as those at CTC Frimley Park and STEM Camp. With qualifications in exercise and range conduct, as well as skill at arms and first aid, they are at the frontline of cadet training and continues to draw on his experience to deliver safe and engaging cadet training to all age groups. Campbell College Combined Cadet Force was the first such organisation established in Ireland in 1909. Starting life as an Officer Training Corps, many students served in both the First and Second World Wars, and continue to do so into the current day.
